Louisville resident, Jackie Friesth, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She moved to Boulder County in 1988 where she lives with her husband and two sons.
Painting in transparent watercolors is Jackie’s passion. Pursuing ways to make the paint glow and vibrate off the paper is a goal to catch her viewers eye. Working mainly with primary colors, she is able to achieve variety and excitement in her color choices .
Jackie is a member of the American Watercolors Society, a Signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society , The Louisville Art Association, and a founding member and owner of pARTiculars, Art Gallery and Teaching Studio. |
