Artist Taunya Bruns is all about variety and fun. When she puts acrylic to canvas, plywood or masonite, her goal is to bring a smile to the faces of her viewers. Spontaneous, adventurous and willing to try anything, Taunya does her best to live her life out loud which is evident in her spirited creations. Taunya believes in exercising her creative muscles. With an extremely active mind, inspiration for her work floods her and she is constantly inspired by nature, travel, people, life experiences, and a variety of artists including Picasso. Her creations range in size from 1?”x2” up to 40”x30” and include collage pieces inspired by mud, shale, rocks and strata; paintings inspired by her travels to East Africa; and her whimsical 3-D wrap around canvas diptychs that reveal much more than most viewers expect to see.
