Theresa Haberkorn
Theresa’s unique, beautifully crafted woodblock prints reflect nature and landscapes with stiking forms, patterns and colors. Her work can be found in galleries, exhibitions and collections throughout the country. A celebrated artist, she has taught woodblock printmaking in Boulder and Denver and was artist-in-residence at the Grand Canyon National Park in 2006.

Sharon Strasburg
Sharon’s artwork is a celebration of nature— the drama of a thunder storm, the rhythms of ocean waves, the abundant fields stretching under open skies. She has a minimalist style, capturing subtle details with rich color, vibrant light and texture punctuated by crisp geometries. Her work invites you to embark on a journey that is both restful and regenerative.

Roger enjoys the transparency and spontaneity of watercolor as well as the depth and precision of oil. He also works both en Plein aire, paintings which are executed on location and represent his immediate response to the subject matter, and in the studio, paintings which allow a conceptual involvement. The result is a rich and diverse body of work sure to delight art lovers of all types.

MOLLY HARGARTEN
A colorado artist, Molly began painting in watercolor in 1999. Over the last few years she has received awards and special recognition at various art shows and exhibitions. Her subject matter spans a variety of subjects which reflect Colorado and the Southwest.

Marco believes that artists search for mediums through which they can use their creativity to express life and an essence of the divine. Wax has become the medium through which he achieves this. Marco’s artistic ability, heart & soul, and the divine, culminate in this compelling, inspired work of soulful reverberation.

ANNE GIFFORD
An award winning artist, Anne is the long time poster artist for the Bolder Boulder 10K. After working in silkscreen for 25 years, Anne began working in watercolor, which remains her media of choice today. She makes her own limited edition archival giclee prints in her South Boulder studio. from the vibrant original watercolors she paints of local Rocky Mountain splendor.

JIM MAYNE FREEHEART
Boulder Artist Jim Freeheart, (1993-2006) now a Maui resident, will be returning for the opening of his first showing of Hawaii Paintings outside of the Islands. Affordable giclee prints and small Maui paintings will accompany larger brush and finger-painted pieces in this colorful, tropical show. Jim is widely known for his vibrant colorful paintings. A few years ago, Jim began an innovative series of acrylics— Finger-Painting! “Finger-Painting is a wondrous dance with both hands on the canvas, like playing a piano with color! I haven’t been so excited since I began painting!” His first one was done on the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder.
Maui pieces will be at the Creative Framing Gallery prior to the June 5th opening.

LINDSEY STILLINGER
Lindsey is a fiber artist with an eye for beauty. The rich colors and textures of fabric bring joy to her senses and endless amusement at all the amazing ways they might be combined. She has adapted basic theory and skills into a powerful artistic voice that is uniquely her own. Lindsey loves to work with exotic batiks and hand dyed fabrics to create pieces generally between 2 and 4 feet “un-square.” Much of her work is designed to hang as dramatic wall art.
